Description
4″ Welded Disc Polyurethane Wheel. Shown in photo with 5″ wheels. Total Locking Stainless Rigid Caster Model 3A is made using a stamped steel construction and is zinc plated. This rigid plate caster comes with ⅜” diameter axle bolt. Rigid casters are most commonly selected when price is a factor, or if you need to travel in a straight line over long distances. This rigid caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1200 lbs on a set of 4 Model 3A casters. The Total Locking Stainless Caster Model 3A is excellent for worktables and medical equipment.
Welded disc polyurethane wheels are made from 2 stainless steel discs and the polyurethane tire is permanently molded between them. The welded disc caster wheel comes with stainless steel annular ball bearings which are designed roll on a ⅜” diameter axle. The welded disc polyurethane wheel is an excellent choice for applications that exposes wheels to cleaning agents, steam, caustic solutions, or other corrosive agents which could cause rust or corrosion. Caster City has designed this wheel to come in either 4” or 5” diameters and the tire is 1-¼” wide. The welded disc polyurethane wheel has a temperature range of -40°F to +180°F and the durometer of the polyurethane is 95A(+/-5).
