Model 9 – Weld on swivel lock option makes the caster non returnable.
The Model 9 swivel casters are our most popular industrial caster for many reasons but largely because of its low cost and varying selection of wheels. Under the mounting plate it has 2 rows of balls that pivot on heat treated raceways. The swivel has a bolt and nut center pin welded to withstand normal abuse in hand powered applications. The center bolt diameter is 5/8” and the leg thickness is 1/4”, welded on the inside and out. The metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance, and it has grease fittings for all transportable parts. Model 9 has a broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks for most applications. Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request.
