Description
Black finished casters are designed with a semi-gloss black coating, not only enhancing their visual appeal but also providing protection against corrosion.
E-coat is an electrically applied paint coating. It is used as either a decorative or protective coating that enhances the appearance of parts while also protecting the surface of parts. Typical thickness is regulated to range between .0002” to .001” depending on the requirements.
This institutional stem caster is assembled with stamped steel and zinc plated to resist corrosion. This stem caster’s swivel bearing is held together by two ball bearings rotating on hardened raceways. All institutional stem casters are assembled with a 3/8” diameter axle bolt, and this swivel stem caster uses a 1/2” rivet to hold the swivel bearing together. This stem caster is completed with a dust cover to protect the ball bearings in the swivel. The stem choices for this stem caster are not intended to carry more than 1,000lbs of weight on four swivel casters.
