Model 9 Swivel Casters are the most frequently ordered industrial plate caster because of the affordable cost and large wheel selection. Beneath the mounting plate, 2 rows of ball bearings travel on heat treated raceways for consistent swivel operation. The nut and bolt center pin is welded to endure normal use in a manually moved application. The kingpin bolt measures 5/8″ in diameter and the legs are 1/4″ thick, welded on the inside and out. The axle diameter is 1/2″ and accepts wheels with a 2 7/16″ hub width. Constructed from stamped steel, the frames are zinc plated for rust resistance. All moveable parts have lubrication fittings. A broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks is available for most applications. Ideal for woodworking shops, plastics manufacturing, and chemical plants. Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request. A 304 Stainless Steel construction is also available for corrosive or wet service.

This premium maroon polyurethane caster wheel features an injection molded polyurethane tire bonded to a gray polyolefin center, delivering superior abrasion resistance and noticeably quieter operation compared to standard polyolefin-core wheels. This non-marking, chemical-resistant caster wheel is well suited for hospitals, pharmaceutical laboratories, food service, research facilities, and other applications where floor protection and quiet rolling are essential. The 95A durometer provides excellent vibration and noise dampening on smooth floors. Caster City manufactures this wheel with needle roller bearings, precision sealed ball bearings, Delrin bearings. The temperature range of -20°F to 180°F accommodates a wide variety of indoor environments. Injection molded caster wheels are not designed for heavy static load applications. Ideal for pharmaceutical labs, hospital equipment, and food processing carts.
