The Model 50 Gray Iron Swivel Casters stand out over the Model 30. Nonetheless, plate caster model 50 has a larger mounting plate and thicker legs. This allows for excessive loads and more arduous service. The precision machined swivel provides exceptional work with hand operated and mechanically powered machinery. Popular options include a face contact wheel brake to latch the wheels from moving and a hand powered swivel lock to convert the swivel caster into a rigid caster for direct line travel. There are lubrication fittings for all moveable parts, and the metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance and protection.
