Description
DO NOT ORDER SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS IF YOU ORDER THE TL – TOTAL LOCK BRAKE. THE TL BRAKE WILL NOT WORK WITH EITHER THE SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS.
The Model 9 swivel casters are our most popular industrial caster for many reasons but largely because of its low cost and assorted selection of wheels. Under the mounting plate it has 2 rows of balls rotating on raceways treated for heat.. The swivel has a bolt and nut center pin welded to withstand normal abuse in hand powered applications. Features: leg thickness is 1/4”, center bolt diameter is 5/8”, metal zinc plated frames, and grease fittings. We have other mounting plates and wheel types available upon request.
These wheels provide high load capacity without causing floor wear associated with metal wheels. Unlike polyurethane wheels, there is no risk of flat spots or delamination if these wheels are left parked for a prolonged period. Instead of injection molding, these wheels are compression molded and then machined. Their straight sided shape maximizes load capacity.
