Description
DO NOT ORDER SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS IF YOU ORDER THE TL – TOTAL LOCK BRAKE. THE TL BRAKE WILL NOT WORK WITH EITHER THE SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS.
V-Groove swivel casters require a Swivel Lock in order to go backwards when on Angle Iron Track.
The Model 9 swivel casters are our most popular industrial caster for many reasons but largely because of its low cost and assorted selection of wheels. Under the mounting plate it has 2 rows of balls that pivot on heat treated raceways. The swivel caster has a bolt and nut center pin welded to withstand normal abuse in a manually moved application. The leg thickness is 1/4”, welded on the inside and out and the center bolt diameter is 5/8”. The metal frames are plated in zinc for rust prevention and it has grease fittings for all transportable parts. Model 9 has a broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks for most applications. We have other wheel bearing types and mounting plates available upon request.
