These industrial pneumatic casters feature air filled pneumatic wheels. These industrial casters are designed for low speed manually moved applications only. Air filled pneumatic wheels provide a cushioned ride, shock absorption and quiet operation. Pneumatic casters are ideally suited for moving fragile or delicate cargo where caster overall height is not critical. Casters with pneumatic wheels are usually the best choice for use outdoors over rough surfaces ( i.e. gravel ) or on grass. Model 9 – Weld on swivel lock option makes the caster non returnable.
The Model 9 swivel casters are our most popular industrial caster for many reasons but largely because of its low cost and assorted selection of wheels. Under the mounting plate it has 2 rows of balls swiveling on heat treated raceways. The swivel has a bolt and nut center pin welded to withstand normal abuse in a manually moved application. Features: center bolt diameter is 5/8”, leg thickness is 1/4”, metal frames plated in zinc, and lubrication fittings. We have other mounting plates and wheel types available upon request.
DO NOT ORDER SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS IF YOU ORDER THE TL – TOTAL LOCK BRAKE. THE TL BRAKE WILL NOT WORK WITH EITHER THE SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS.
