Model 9 Plate Rigid Caster is the identical caster for the Swivel Model 9 Caster.  When hand powering equipment supported by 4 swivel casters it can be difficult to control the direction you are pushing or pulling.  Rigid casters help in controlling equipment being moved in straight line travel.  Equipment with both rigid casters can not move sideways.  Rigid Casters are usually installed at the opposite end of the push handle.  Main Features Include: 2 perpendicular legs on the mounting plate, leg thickness: 1/4”, axle diameter: 1/2”, hub width 2 7/16”, and built with stamped steel. Rigids can carry more weight than swivel casters because they do not have an offset.  Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request.
