Description

Model 9 Rigid is the equivalent plate caster for the Swivel Caster Model 9.  When manually moving systems supported by 4 swivel casters it can be problematic to control the direction you are pushing or pulling.  Rigid casters assist in controlling equipment being moved in direct line travel.  Machines with both rigid casters can not move sideways.  Rigid Casters are usually installed at the opposite end of the push handle. Features Include: 2 perpendicular legs on the mounting plate, leg thickness: 1/4”, axle diameter: 1/2”, hub width 2 7/16”, and built with stamped steel. Rigid Casters can carry more weight than swivel casters because they do not have an offset.  Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request.
