Description
For cost-effective stainless steel stem casters with fully sealed swivel bearings, the Stainless Steel Model 3 from Caster City fills the need. This 304 stainless stamped steel swivel caster has a buffed smooth reflective finish and mounts into socket holes using grip ring, threaded, expanding adapter, or square and round metal stems. The double ball bearing swivel rides on polished stainless raceways with high-temperature white seals rated -20°F to 450°F. A grease fitting and dust cover maintain and protect the swivel assembly. The swivel uses a 1/2″ diameter rivet and the wheel is mounted on a 3/8″ diameter axle with lock nut. Capacity up to 350 lbs per caster depending on stem type. Uses 1-1/4″ wide wheels. NSF listed and RoHS compliant. Ideal for spice grinding facilities, seasoning blending operations, and dry ingredient processing areas with socket-type equipment requiring washdowns.
Nylon caster wheels are an excellent choice for supporting heavy loads without using a metal wheel. This solid wheel is injection molded from nylon 6 and can not develop a flat spot even under prolonged static loads. Nylon is resistant to greases, oils, blood, acids, bases, organic solvents, chemicals, salt, brine, and cleaning solutions. Nylon is capable of resisting shocks and impact loads. This industrial caster wheel is 100% washable, steam cleanable, and impervious to water, making it ideal for wet environments. The non-marking tread has a Durometer of 75D with a slight crown that rolls very easily. This caster wheel offers high abrasion resistance and toughness. This caster wheel can come equipped with stainless or non-stainless roller bearings and ball bearings, as well as Delrin bearings or plain bore. Ideal for packaging plants, food processing facilities, and hygiene-critical environments.
