When moving equipment with Rigid Casters – supported by swivel casters – it can be difficult to control the direction you are pushing or pulling. However, Rigid casters can assist in straight line travel and hold more weight than the Swivel Caster. Rigid Casters have 2 legs horizontally to the mounting plate. Leg thickness is 1/4”. Nevertheless, on our website both rigid casters and matching swivel casters are shown with the same capacity. Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request.

Nylon caster wheels are capable of supporting a capacity comparable to most metal wheels while weighing very little and without the risk of damaging your floors.This solid nylon caster wheel can resist chemicals, bases, steam, salt, brine, acid, blood, oils, greases. Nylon is capable of resisting shocks and impact loads. This industrial caster wheel comes in 1-¼” wide and 2” wide, and comes in diameters ranging from 3” to 8”, depending on the width selected. This caster wheel comes with plain bore, precision sealed ball bearings, or roller bearings as well as coming in stainless steel ball bearings or stainless steel roller bearings.
