Plate Caster Model 3 is made using a stamped steel construction and is bright zinc plated for corrosion resistance. The mounting plate is 2 3/8” x 3 5/8” and the hole pattern is slotted to: 1 3/4” x 2 7/8” – 3” and is designed to use a mounting bolt size of 5/16”. This plate caster uses a ⅜” diameter axle and the swivel caster is held together by a 1⁄2” diameter rivet. This institutional plate caster is constructed with two ball bearings on hardened raceways to ensure life of the caster. There is a metal dust cap protecting the swivel raceways to shield them from dirt and dust. Features wheels with 1-¼” and 1-1⁄2” tread widths. This Zinc Plated caster is NSF listed.

This caster comes standard with two high temperature white seals in the swivel bearing that has a temperature range of -20F to 450F. These caster wheels have blue, non-marking injection molded thermoplastic rubber tires mechanically and chemically bonded to a polyolefin ( industrial plastic ) center. Soft rubber provides more desirable operating characteristics than any other wheel material. Load capacity ratings do not take into account the effort required to manually move a load (drawbar pull measured in pounds).
