Model 100 plate casters have a load capacity rating up to 10,000 lbs with all of the other wheel types and up to 20,000 lbs with forged steel wheels. Swivel Caster Model 100s have a precision machined swivel bearing which provides easier pivoting, reduced swivel vibration, and longer trouble-free performance. Given the very high weights involved, plate caster model 100s are moved primarily with mechanically powered equipment. Options include a cross bar welded between the legs for added strength against abuse, a face contact wheel brake to lock the wheel, and a swivel lock to convert a swivel caster into a rigid caster for straight line travel. There are greasing fittings for all moveableparts, and the metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance.
