Non-Marking Wheel

A non-marking wheel is formulated specifically not to leave black scuff marks or streaks on floor finishes — the large majority of rubber and polyurethane wheels in the catalog are non-marking by default.

What a non-marking wheel is

Standard dark rubber compounds can leave marks from friction and debris pickup; non-marking formulations (often lighter-colored) are chemically designed to avoid that residue.

When it matters

Finished floors — retail, hospitality, healthcare — where floor appearance matters and marking would be a visible problem.

What to check / common mistakes

Assuming all rubber or polyurethane wheels are automatically non-marking. Always check the specific listing for a non-marking designation rather than assuming by material alone.

Frequently asked questions

Are most wheels in the catalog non-marking?

Yes — non-marking is the more common designation across rubber and polyurethane wheels, though it's still worth confirming per listing.

Does non-marking affect performance?

Not meaningfully — it's primarily a formulation difference targeting floor residue, not load capacity or durability.
