The “RHB” soft blue rubber caster wheel is a non-marking soft rubber tire chemically bonded to an industrial plastic center. This caster wheel is 1-¼” wide and is designed to use a ⅜” axle.  The durometer of this soft gray rubber caster wheel is 90-95A, making it ideal for vibration and noise reduction.  The annular ball bearings in this soft blue high capacity rubber caster wheel can handle as much weight and abuse as its gray counterpart.

The RH High Capacity Soft Gray Rubber Wheel is a non-marking industrial wheel for heavy duty casters, with a gray, injection-molded thermoplastic rubber tire mechanically bonded to a polyolefin (industrial plastic) center, providing a softer, quiet ride than polyurethane and resisting many chemicals and solvents, making it popular in pharmaceutical laboratories, hospitals, food service, and institutional applications on dry factory floors. This high capacity soft gray rubber caster wheel, featuring annular ball bearings to maximize its rated capacity (up to 700 lbs for the 8”x2”), absorbs shock, rolls over small objects, protects costly floor surfaces, and minimizes vibration, prolonging equipment life and protecting cargo, but it’s not suited for shock, overloading, abuse, obstructions, poor floors, or prolonged standing loads, as the tire may take a permanent set or develop flat spots.

The RH High Capacity Soft Gray Rubber Wheel has higher rolling resistance, so it does not roll easily under load—reduce capacity ratings by 50% and select the largest practical wheel diameter (1.25” wide in 3”, 3.5”, 4”, and 5” diameters, and 2” wide in 4”, 5”, 6”, and 8” diameters) for manual movement, as load capacity ratings do not account for the effort required to manually move a load (drawbar pull measured in pounds).
