PLATE MOUNT Swivel Caster Offering 2″ Wide Wheels for greater application diversity.

Caster Model 4A is intended for use in institutional applications of up to 1,200 Lbs on a set of four casters. These casters are a slightly heavier version of our Model 3 shown on this page.  These casters distinguish themselves by using 2″ wide wheels, offering a much larger diversity in wheel color and type to suit any application.

As with all lighter duty casters the steel swivel and rigid frames are not designed to withstand shock loads, impact or abuse. If your application involves that type of environment select from our broad selection of industrial casters starting with Model 9 rated for 900 Lbs per caster. Model 4A, Model 3 and K3 are stampings. They are designed for intermittent usage only on manually moved equipment.

In production applications where equipment is moved about frequently in less than an ideal operating environment select from one of our many industrial casters.
