Plate Caster Model 50 swivel casters and rigid casters utilize the same caster wheels shown in plate caster model 30. However, plate caster model 50 has a larger mounting plate and thicker legs. This allows for heavier loads and more arduous service. The precision machined swivel bearing provides superior performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment. Benefits include easier swiveling, reduced swivel vibration, and longer trouble free performance. Capacity up to 7,000 pounds per caster.

Suggested for a capacity of up to 7,000 lbs per caster in a manually moved application and for up to 6,000 lbs when moved with mechanically powered equipment. When used with mechanically powered equipment please consult us for a recommendation.

Popular options include a face contact wheel brake to lock the wheels, and a hand operated swivel lock that converts a swivel caster into a rigid caster for direct line travel. There are lubrication fittings for all moveable parts, and the metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance.

This caster is available in Stainless Steel Plate Caster Model 50. This Stainless Steel caster is NSF and ROHS compliant and comes with a broad selection of 3” wide wheels to choose from that are also NSF and ROHS compliant.
