Pneumatic wheels with black tires do not mark the floor as long as the wheel is allowed to roll. Changing directions without allowing a swivel caster to turn gradually around, or dragging a black rubber wheel sideways, can mark some floors.
Pneumatic wheels come in 6-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch diameters, all with air-filled tires and ball bearings for smooth rolling. Gray rubber tires, which are non-marking, are available in certain sizes (typically 8-inch and larger) for applications requiring floor protection.
Industries where Pneumatic Wheels work best: hospitals, clinics, laboratories, cleanrooms, schools, museums, art galleries, libraries, and pharmaceutical facilities.
