These industrial pneumatic casters feature air filled pneumatic wheels. These industrial casters are designed for low speed manually moved applications only. Air filled pneumatic wheels provide a cushioned ride, shock absorption and quiet operation. Pneumatic casters are ideally suited for moving fragile or delicate cargo where caster overall height is not critical. Casters with pneumatic wheels are usually the best choice for use outdoors over rough surfaces ( i.e. gravel ) or on grass. The wide footprint on 8″ or larger pneumatic wheels provides stability on gravel and does not sink into lawns.

Rigid Caster Model 30 is a step up from the rigid casters shown on Model G15. These Rigid casters have larger wheels, large wheel bearings, a higher load capacity rating, and a bigger mounting plate than the rigid caster that is shown on G15. It features superior performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment. The Model 30 frames are zinc plated for rust resistance. There are grease fittings for the wheel bearings. Rigid casters are usually attached to equipment at the opposite end of the push handle and where swivel casters are attached. This enables the person pushing the equipment to be able to control the direction of travel. It should also be stressed that Rigid casters have 2 legs perpendicular to the mount plate, therefore they can not move sideways. Caster City manufactures this caster and it is also available in Stainless Steel Plate Caster Model 30. This is a heavy duty industrial stainless steel caster constructed from 304 SS and is excellent for wet or corrosive applications if your total weight exceeds 4000lbs. It comes with the same large selection of wheels, some of which are also NSF and ROHS compliant.
