Description
Designed for the most demanding heavy-duty applications where maximum plate strength and directional stability are critical, the Stainless Steel Model 50 rigid caster from Caster City is constructed from 304 stainless steel with electrolytic polishing to a shining finish. Features include 3″ wide industrial wheels, a 3/4″ stainless steel axle, and lubrication fittings. Capacity up to 3,000 lbs per caster. For manual and mechanically powered use. NSF and RoHS compliant—a perfect rigid complement for wastewater treatment equipment, desalination plant transport, and biopharmaceutical heavy-load applications.
High Temperature Phenolic caster wheels make an excellent, low cost choice for supporting loads as they roll into and out of an oven. High Temperature Phenolic wheels are non-marking, hard composition wheels made from glass strands, making them an excellent choice for your bakery or oven application. Caster City has designed this wheel for dry heat applications only; if your application calls for moist heat select the Glass Filled Nylon “NP” caster wheel. Caster City has designed this caster wheel to have the following temperature range: up to 475°F for continuous use, 525°F intermittent. If used above 475°F for more than 30 minutes continuous operation it will reduce the life of the wheel. These wheels have a hard surface and should be used on smooth floor surfaces – rough floors or obstructions will reduce the service life of the wheels. Caster City can furnish high temperature phenolic wheels in either a plain bore, with a straight roller bearing, or with an oilite bronze bearing sleeve for high temperature applications. Ideal for industrial bakeries, heat treating equipment, and dry heat autoclave applications.
