Swivel Radius for 3 inch PTB brake = 4-3/8″ ± 1/8″
Plate Caster Model 3 Swivel Casters are made using stamped steel construction and finished with bright zinc plating for corrosion protection. The top plate is 2-3/8″ x 3-5/8″ and the hole pattern is 1-3/4″ x 3″, slotted to 1-3/4″ x 2-7/8″ using 5/16″ mounting bolts. A 3/8″ diameter bolt axle with a locking nut supports the wheel and the swivel is held together by a 1/2″ diameter rivet. Two rows of ball bearings running on hardened raceways provide smooth swiveling and long service life. The swivel raceways are shielded by a metal dust cover to keep out dirt and dust. Wheels with 1-1/4″ and 1-1/2″ tread widths are available. Ideal for retail display racks, point of sale fixtures, and stockroom shelving. This zinc plated caster is NSF listed. This caster is also available in Stainless Steel for wet or corrosive environments.
Injection molded polyurethane wheels are non-marking polyurethane tires that are injection molded to an industrial plastic center. This injection molded polyurethane tire is a non-marking caster wheel, making it suitable for institutional applications such as a hospital, food service carts, computer carts, electronic and diagnostic equipment, office equipment, laboratory equipment, or light toolboxes. These caster wheels are especially suited for use in research laboratories, hospitals, food service, schools, bakeries and other institutional applications. These caster wheels are easier rolling than gray rubber on smooth floors. They withstand exposure to many chemicals and solvents. The durometer of this injection molded polyurethane caster wheel is 90-95A, making it ideal for vibration and noise reduction. The sealed ball bearing in this polyurethane caster wheel is bushed down with two plastic spanner bushings that also act as thread guards, guarding the bearing from direct and indirect moisture contact. If your application is moved infrequently and has a high capacity, injection molded caster wheels such as this are not the best choice. Ideal for hospitals, food service, and laboratory equipment.
