3″ High Temp Phenolic – Stem Model 3

Description

Caster City produces the Model 3 Stem Caster from stamped steel construction with a bright zinc plated finish for corrosion protection. This stem caster inserts into equipment socket holes instead of using a bolt-on plate. Grip ring, threaded, expanding adapter, and square and round metal stems are available. The swivel section features two rows of ball bearings on hardened raceways for smooth and dependable operation. A metal dust cover protects the swivel raceways from dirt and dust contamination. The wheel is mounted on a 3/8″ diameter bolt axle with lock nut and the swivel is assembled with a 1/2″ diameter rivet. Up to 350 lbs capacity per caster depending on stem type. Features 1-1/4″ wide wheels. Multiple wheel and brake options are offered. Ideal for banquet hall equipment, event storage dollies, and conference room carts with socket-type legs. NSF listed.

High Temperature Phenolic caster wheels make an excellent, low cost choice for supporting loads as they roll into and out of an oven. The High Temperature Phenolic caster wheel is best suited for dry heat applications such as powder coating, dry heat bakery ovens, dry heat autoclaves and more. High Temperature Phenolic wheels are a hard composition caster wheel that is non-marking and made from mostly glass fibers. The temperature range of these high temperature caster wheels is up to 475°F for continuous use, and 525°F for intermittent use. If used above 475°F for more than 30 minutes continuous operation it will reduce the life of the wheel. These wheels have a hard surface and should be used on smooth floor surfaces. It is always best to shield High Temperature Wheels from a direct heat intake source. Caster City can furnish high temperature phenolic wheels in either a plain bore, with a straight roller bearing, or with an oilite bronze bearing sleeve for high temperature applications. Ideal for powder coating ovens, industrial bakeries, and dry heat autoclave applications.
