Description
DO NOT ORDER SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS IF YOU ORDER THE TL – TOTAL LOCK BRAKE. THE TL BRAKE WILL NOT WORK WITH EITHER THE SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS.
Plate Caster Model 9 Swivel is the industry standard industrial caster because of the economical pricing and broad wheel selection. The swivel bearing uses 2 rows of balls on heat treated raceways underneath the mounting plate. A nut and bolt center pin is welded to handle normal abuse in a manually moved application. The kingpin bolt diameter is 5/8″ and legs are 1/4″ thick, welded on the inside and outside. The axle is 1/2″ in diameter, designed to use wheels with a 2 7/16″ hub width. Made from stamped steel, the metal frames are zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Lubrication fittings keep all moveable parts maintained. A broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks is available for most applications. Ideal for fiberglass manufacturing, composite layup facilities, and resin transfer operations. Other plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request. A 304 Stainless Steel construction is also supplied for washdown and corrosive applications.
Nylon caster wheels are capable of supporting a capacity comparable to most metal wheels while weighing very little and without the risk of damaging your floors. This solid nylon caster wheel can resist chemicals, bases, steam, salt, brine, acid, blood, oils, and greases. This solid nylon industrial caster wheel is a hard composite material that can withstand shock loads and impact loads. Injection molded from nylon 6, this wheel is 100% washable, steam cleanable, and impervious to water. Nylon caster wheels can not develop flat spots, even under prolonged static loads. The hard tread features a slight crown and rolls very easily. This non-marking wheel has a Durometer of 75D and offers excellent abrasion resistance. This caster wheel comes with plain bore, precision sealed ball bearings, or roller bearings. Ideal for manufacturing facilities, food processing, and environments exposed to corrosive substances.
