8″ Black Polyolefin Wheel – Model 9 Rigid Caster

Description

Plate Caster Model 9 Rigid is the matching plate caster for the Plate Caster Model Swivel 9.  When manually moving equipment supported by 4 swivel casters it can be strenuous to control the direction you are pushing or pulling.  Rigid casters assist in controlling equipment being moved in direct line travel.  Machinery with both rigid casters can not move sideways.  Rigids are usually installed at the opposite end of the push handle and contain 2 legs perpendicular to the mounting plate.  Leg thickness is 1/4”.  The axle diameter is 1/2” long and is designed to use wheels with a hub width of 2 7/16”.  This caster is constructed from stamped steel.  Rigid Casters can carry more heft than swivel casters because they do not have an offset.  Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request.
