Description
Caster City’s Stainless Steel Model 50 rigid caster is engineered for environments where no other stainless rigid caster provides enough mounting surface or load capacity. The 304 stainless steel frame features electrolytic polishing to a shining finish, 3″ wide industrial wheels for better weight distribution, a 3/4″ stainless steel axle, and lubrication fittings. Load rated to 3,000 lbs per caster. Designed for both manual and mechanically powered equipment. NSF and RoHS compliant for USDA-inspected facilities, retort processing, and heavy-duty cold storage transport.
High Temperature Phenolic caster wheels are a hard composition, non-marking wheel that is made mostly out of glass fibers. The “TP” high temperature caster wheel was designed for dry heat only – if your application calls for moist heat select the Glass Filled Nylon “NP” caster wheel instead. High Temperature Phenolic wheels make an excellent choice for your bakery or oven application. The temperature range is up to 475°F for continuous use, and 525°F for intermittent use. These wheels have a hard surface and should be used on smooth floor surfaces. It is always best to shield High Temperature Wheels from a direct heat intake source. The “TP” high temperature phenolic caster wheel can come with a roller bearing, plain bore, or oil-impregnated sintered bronze bearing for high temperature service. Ideal for dry heat autoclaves, industrial curing ovens, powder coating facilities, and commercial bakery ovens.
