The Model 9 swivel casters are our most popular industrial caster for many reasons but largely because of its low cost and wide selection of wheels. Under the mounting plate it has 2 rows of balls that pivot on heat treated raceways. The swivel caster has a bolt and nut center pin welded for hand powered applications and designed to withstand customary abuse. The center bolt diameter is 5/8” and the leg thickness is 1/4”, welded on the inside and out. The metal frames are plated in zinc for rust prevention and it has grease fittings for all flexible parts. Model 9 has a vast selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks for most applications. Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request.
