Model 9 – Weld on swivel lock option makes the caster non returnable.
The Model 9 swivel casters are our most popular industrial caster for many reasons but largely because of its low cost and wide selection of wheels. Under the mounting plate it has 2 rows of balls balls that rotate on raceways treated for heat. The swivel caster has a bolt and nut center pin welded for hand powered applications and designed to withstand customary abuse. The leg thickness is 1/4”, welded on the inside and out and the center bolt diameter is 5/8”. The metal frames are plated in zinc for rust prevention, and it has grease oil fittings for all flexible parts. Model 9 has a vast selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks for most applications. We have other wheel bearing types and mounting plates available upon request.
