They come in various stem types including threaded, grip ring, expanding rubber, and metal (square/round). These industrial pneumatic casters feature air filled pneumatic wheels. These industrial casters are designed for low speed manually moved applications only. Air filled pneumatic wheels provide a cushioned ride, shock absorption and quiet operation. Pneumatic casters are ideally suited for moving fragile or delicate cargo where caster overall height is not critical. Casters with pneumatic wheels are usually the best choice for use outdoors over rough surfaces ( i.e. gravel ) or on grass. The wide footprint on 8″ or larger pneumatic wheels provides stability on gravel and does not sink into lawns.

Plate Caster Model G15 begins our kingpinless industrial casters with a precision machined swivel bearing. This design provides superior performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment. Benefits include easier swivel rotation, reduced vibration, and longer trouble free performance. The swivel casters are zinc plated for rust resistance, and there are lubrication fittings for all moveable parts. Model G15 has a broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks. We offer the same wide selection of wheels as shown in Model 9, and in many instances the wheels have a higher load capacity rating in Model G15. One popular option is a larger swivel radius in Model G15 Casters with 6” and 8” wheel diameters. A larger swivel radius reduces swivel shimmy vibration and makes it easier to change directions. This caster comes with a 1/2” diameter axle with a locking nut. This swivel caster is made of a hot-forged construction with legs welded to the swivel bearing.
This caster is available in Stainless Steel Plate Caster Model G15. This Stainless Steel caster is NSF and ROHS compliant and comes with a broad selection of 2” wide wheels to choose from that are also NSF and ROHS compliant.
