4″ Ductile Wheel/Bronze Bearing – Kingless Swivel G15 Caster

Description

Model G15 begins our industrial casters with a precise swivel bearing.  This design provides smashing performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment.  Details include easier swivel rotation, reduced vibration, and longer straightforward performance.  The metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance, and there are lubrication fittings for all moveable parts.  Plate Caster Model G15 has a broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks.  We offer the same wide selection of wheels as shown in Model 9, and in many instances the wheels have a higher load capacity rating in Model G15.  One popular option is a larger swivel radius in Model G15 Casters with 6” and 8” wheel diameters.  A larger swivel radius reduces swivel shimmy vibration and makes it easier to change directions.  [This caster comes with a 1/2” diameter axle with a locking nut.  This swivel caster is made of hot=forged construction with legs welded to the swivel bearing.] This caster is available in Stainless Steel.  This Stainless Steel caster is NSF and ROHS compliant and comes with a broad selection of 2” wide wheels to choose from that are also NSF and ROHS compliant.

The 2-inch wide ductile steel high temp wheel with a Single-Piece High-Temperature Bronze Bearing is a tough industrial wheel for heavy duty casters, made from high-grade ductile steel with a tensile strength of 45,000 psi, paired with a C954 tin bronze bearing (3/4″ ID x 1-3/16″ OD x 2-3/16″ L) that handles high temperatures up to 1300°F, while the high temperature caster wheel itself is rated for 800°F, supporting loads up to 1,500 lbs in high-temp settings like powder coating lines, media/sand blasting, foundries, and steel mills, where its one-piece design resists corrosion, wear, and won’t clog from stone dust or particulate matter, staying maintenance-free with just high-temperature grease for smooth, reliable performance on tracks or flat floors in extreme heat.
