Model 2-100 Rigid casters are usually selected when equipment needs to be moved in a straight line. Mechanically powered equipment is used to push, pull or tow from the end of the object. It is easier to position something being moved if the object is supported by 4 swivel casters which allowed the object to be maneuvered in any direction.
Where loads are too heavy for floor protective wheels, or where unusually severe service factors are present, Ductile steel caster wheels will do the job. Usually in these applications the user will not consider floor wear as too great a penalty considering the work that is being done.
