Description
3″ Blue Polyurethane on Aluminum Wheel. Ball Bearings in the Wheel. Shown with 5″ wheel. Plate Caster Model K3A is an institutional total locking swivel caster which locks the swivel bearing and the wheel at the same time when the black nylon pedal is used. Plate Caster Model K3A is made using a stamped steel construction and is zinc plated. The swivel raceway of this caster is held together by a ½” diameter rivet and uses a ⅜” diameter axle. Plate Caster Model K3A caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. There is a solid cover over the swivel raceways to shield them from dirt and dust. This plate caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1200 lbs on a set of 4 Model K3A casters.
