The matching rigid for the Model 3 Swivel Plate Caster. The top plate measures 2-3/8″ x 3-5/8″ and the hole pattern is 1-3/4″ x 3″, slotted to 1-3/4″ x 2-7/8″ designed for a 5/16″ mounting bolt. This caster uses a 3/8″ diameter bolt axle with a locking nut and accepts 1-1/4″ and 1-1/2″ wide wheels. Welded leg construction. Multiple wheels and brake options are offered. When manually operating equipment supported by 4 swivel casters it can be difficult to maintain the direction of push or pull. Rigid casters are used to assist in controlling direction during straight line travel. Equipment with rigid casters can not move sideways. Ideal for banquet hall equipment, conference room carts, and event storage dollies. This plate caster is NSF listed. A Stainless Steel Model 3 version is also available for wet or corrosive environments.

This cushion gray rubber caster wheel is an injection molded non-marking thermoplastic rubber tire mechanically bonded to a polyolefin center. The “RQ” cushion rubber wheel features a softer 60A durometer compared to standard gray rubber wheels, providing superior shock absorption, noise reduction, and vibration dampening. These extra soft rubber wheels are non-marking, quiet, and protect costly floor surfaces while providing excellent cushioning for sensitive equipment and cargo. The softer compound absorbs more impact energy than standard rubber, making it ideal for protecting delicate instruments and electronics during transport. This wheel is equipped with a sealed precision ball bearing. Cushion rubber wheels should not be left standing under load for extended periods as the tires may develop flat spots. Ideal for laboratory equipment, sensitive instrumentation, and institutional applications where maximum vibration isolation is required.
