Description

Model 3 Stem Caster from Caster City is a swivel caster built from stamped steel and bright zinc plated for long-lasting corrosion protection. This caster uses a stem that inserts into equipment socket holes. Available with grip ring, threaded, expanding adapter, or square and round metal stems. A double ball bearing swivel with hardened raceways provides smooth swiveling and extended service life. A metal dust cover shields the swivel raceways from dirt and dust. The 3/8″ diameter bolt axle with lock nut secures the wheel and a 1/2″ diameter rivet holds the swivel assembly. Handles loads up to 350 lbs per caster depending on stem type. Equipped with 1-1/4″ wide wheels. Multiple wheel and brake options are available. Ideal for ice cream parlor equipment, frozen yogurt shop carts, and dessert service stations with socket mounting. This caster is NSF listed.

High Temperature Phenolic caster wheels are a hard composition, non-marking wheel that is made mostly out of glass fibers. The “TP” high temperature caster wheel was designed for dry heat only – it will fail if your application is moist heat. Caster City has designed this wheel for dry heat applications only; if your application calls for moist heat select the Glass Filled Nylon “NP” caster wheel. The temperature range is up to 475°F for continuous use, and 525°F for intermittent use. High Temperature Phenolic wheels make an excellent choice for your bakery or oven application. These wheels have a hard surface and should be used on smooth floor surfaces – rough floors or obstructions will reduce the service life of the wheels. The “TP” high temperature phenolic caster wheel can come with a roller bearing, plain bore, or oil-impregnated sintered bronze bearing for high heat service. Ideal for heat treating facilities, curing ovens, and industrial baking operations.
