Plate Caster Model 3 Swivel Casters are constructed from stamped steel with bright zinc plating for rust protection. The top plate measures 2-3/8″ x 3-5/8″ and the hole pattern is 1-3/4″ x 3″, slotted to 1-3/4″ x 2-7/8″ using a mounting bolt size of 5/16″. The axle is a 3/8″ diameter bolt with a locking nut and the swivel caster is assembled with a 1/2″ diameter rivet. This caster features two rows of ball bearings on hardened raceways for dependable swiveling. The swivel raceways are protected by a metal dust cover to keep out dirt and dust. Features wheels with 1-1/4″ and 1-1/2″ tread widths. Ideal for senior living facility equipment, nursing home supply carts, and assisted living furniture. This zinc plated caster is NSF listed. This caster is also available in Stainless Steel for wet or corrosive environments.

The “RQ” cushion gray rubber wheel from Caster City features an extra soft 60A durometer thermoplastic rubber tire injection molded to a polyolefin center. This non-marking wheel provides significantly more cushioning and shock absorption than standard gray rubber wheels, making it the preferred choice for transporting sensitive equipment and fragile cargo. The soft rubber compound is quiet, absorbs shock to prolong equipment life, can roll over small obstacles, and minimizes vibration transmitted to the load. These wheels withstand exposure to many chemicals and solvents. Equipped with a sealed precision ball bearing for smooth, maintenance-free operation. The extra soft compound provides the ultimate cushion ride for institutional applications. Not recommended for heavy standing loads or applications moved infrequently. Ideal for hospital diagnostic equipment, electronics carts, and pharmaceutical instruments where vibration protection is critical.

Caster City manufactures this plate caster in Stainless Steel Caster Model 3.  This caster comes standard with two high temperature white seals in the swivel bearing that has a temperature range of -20F to 450F.  Also come with a grease fitting on the dust cover and axle, and buffed to a smooth reflective surface.

Caster City also manufactures this plate caster in Economy Stainless Steel Plate Caster Model K3.  Constructed with S304 stainless steel and comes with no dust cap or grease fitting on the swivel making it economically efficient for most applications.
