Plate Caster K3A has a locking mechanism which simultaneously locks both the wheel and the swivel bearing of the caster. Plate Caster Model K3A is made using a stamped steel construction and is zinc plated. This institutional plate caster is a step up from most swivel casters of its price range since it uses a ⅜” axle bolt and it’s center pin steel rivet is ½” diameter. Plate Caster Model K3A caster brackets have two rows of ball bearings rotating on raceways for smoother swiveling. There is a solid cover over the swivel raceways to shield them from dirt and dust. This plate caster performs best if you limit the load to no more than 1200 lbs on a set of 4 Model K3A casters.
