Description

Model 9 Rigid Casters with phenolic wheels are used when direct line travel is needed. They are normally sold with swivel casters but are selected for hand powered need.

When using Phenolic Wheels, they are an excellent choice for high capacity loads. The strong build of the wheel makes sure it doesn’t develop a flat spot and the carry loads are just as good as iron wheels. The wheel is able to handle shock loads and small obstructions. Phenolic wheels are capable of water and chemical absorption; however, if exposure to them occurs often, polyolefin wheels are a better wheel for that line of work. Phenolic wheels in Model 9 come standard with a roller bearing. Temperature range is -40° to +250° F, with intermittent use up to 300° F.

Our “TP” high temperature wheels, built from fiberglass, phenol resin, and heat-resistant additives, are NSF Listed, RoHS Compliant, and Food Service Approved, crafted for 4”, 5”, 6”, and 8” diameters with a 2-inch width for heavy duty industrial casters in model 9, delivering a 1200 lbs capacity per wheel for the 8×2 size at room temperature on smooth floors in dry high heat environments like powder coating plants, bakery ovens, and dry heat autoclaves. These high heat casters, equipped with a bronze bearing for smooth, corrosion-resistant rolling, withstand continuous operation up to 475°F and can handle 525°F for 30 minutes, needing to cool to room temperature to preserve their lifespan. The hard, non-marking surface of these heat caster wheels requires smooth floors, as rough surfaces or obstructions can wear them down, and they must be shielded from direct heat sources like flames, making them a top pick for high temperature wheel tasks in model 9 SKUs.

Designed for dry high heat only, these “TP” high temperature casters and wheels fail in moist heat, where our “NP” high temperature wheels are the better fit, but offer cost-effective, food-safe performance for model 9 in dry heat settings like bakeries or powder coating facilities. The bronze bearing ensures reliable mobility under heavy loads, while NSF and Food Service approvals make these heavy duty casters ideal for hygienic food processing environments. By using these heavy duty industrial casters on smooth floors and protecting them from direct heat, model 9 users gain durable, high-performance high heat casters for demanding dry high heat operations across various SKU configurations.

FAQ

“TP” High Temperature Phenolic Wheels with Bronze Bearing in Model 9

What material are “TP” high temperature wheels with bronze bearing for model 9 made from?

Our “TP” high temperature wheels are made from fiberglass, phenol resin, and additives to resist heat, creating a hard, non-marking surface for heavy duty industrial casters that perform in dry high heat environments like powder coating plants, bakery ovens, or dry heat autoclaves, with a bronze bearing for smooth rolling.

What applications are best for “TP” high heat casters with bronze bearing in model 9?

These high heat casters and wheels are built for dry high heat applications, such as powder coating lines, dry heat bakery ovens for baking, and dry heat autoclaves for sterilization, where they roll loads smoothly on flat floors in model 9 setups under intense dry heat conditions.

What’s the temperature limit for “TP” high temperature casters with bronze bearing?

“TP” high temperature wheels with bronze bearing handle continuous operation up to 475°F and can hit 525°F for 30 minutes max. Cool them to room temperature after high heat use to keep their service life strong, ideal for dry high heat tasks in model 9.

What sizes do “TP” industrial casters with bronze bearing for model 9 come in?

Our “TP” casters and wheels for model 9 are available in 4”, 5”, 6”, and 8” diameters, all with a 2” tread width, providing options for heavy duty casters in dry high heat applications like powder coating or baking.

What’s the load capacity of “TP” high heat casters with bronze bearing in model 9?

The “TP” high temperature wheel in the 8×2 size with bronze bearing supports up to 1200 lbs per wheel at room temperature in model 9, perfect for heavy duty industrial casters in dry high heat settings. Smaller sizes (4”, 5”, 6”) typically handle 600–1000 lbs, depending on the setup.

Why is the bronze bearing used in “TP” high temperature wheels for model 9?

The bronze bearing in “TP” high heat casters ensures smooth, reliable rolling in dry high heat up to 475°F, resisting corrosion and wear in harsh environments like powder coating or bakery ovens, with a 3/4” ID and 1/2” axle spanner bushing for model 9 durability.

Can “TP” heavy duty casters with bronze bearing roll on rough floors?

No, “TP” high temperature wheels are hard and made for smooth, flat floor surfaces only. Rough floors or obstructions will damage these industrial casters and shorten their life in dry high heat environments.

Are “TP” high heat casters with bronze bearing suitable for moist heat environments?

Nope, “TP” heat casters are designed for dry high heat only and will fail in moist heat like steam-autoclaves or wet bakery ovens. For moist heat, use our “NP” high temperature wheels in model 9 instead.

How do I protect “TP” high temperature wheels with bronze bearing in dry high heat?

Shield “TP” heavy duty industrial casters from direct heat sources, like open flames or radiant heat in powder coating ovens, to prevent damage and maintain performance in dry high heat model 9 applications.

Are “TP” casters and wheels with bronze bearing non-marking in dry high heat?

Yes, the fiberglass and phenol resin build of “TP” high temperature wheels is non-marking, protecting smooth floors in dry high heat settings like bakery ovens, powder coating lines, or dry heat autoclaves under heavy loads.

What makes “TP” high heat casters with bronze bearing food-safe for model 9?

“TP” high temperature casters are NSF Listed and Food Service Approved, ensuring hygiene for food processing in dry high heat bakery ovens or similar model 9 applications, with RoHS compliance for eco-friendly materials.

Why are “TP” heavy duty casters with bronze bearing cost-effective for dry high heat?

“TP” high heat casters offer durable, high temperature performance at a lower cost than other heavy duty casters, making them a smart choice for model 9 in dry high heat applications like powder coating without a big price tag.

How does the bronze bearing enhance “TP” high heat casters in dry high heat?

The bronze bearing in “TP” high temperature wheels provides corrosion resistance and smooth operation in dry high heat up to 475°F, ideal for model 9 in powder coating or bakery ovens, reducing maintenance needs compared to other bearings.

What types of dry high heat environments suit “TP” high temperature casters in model 9?

These high heat casters are perfect for dry high heat environments like powder coating ovens for metal finishing, bakery ovens for high-volume baking, and dry heat autoclaves for sterilizing non-moist equipment, where model 9 needs reliable mobility under heavy loads.

Can “TP” high temperature wheels with bronze bearing go above 525°F?

No, running “TP” heat caster wheels above 475°F for more than 30 minutes or past 525°F will cut their service life. Always cool them to room temperature after high heat exposure in dry environments.

What’s the difference between “TP” and “NP” high temperature casters for model 9?

“TP” high heat casters with bronze bearing are for dry high heat (e.g., powder coating, dry ovens), while “NP” high temperature wheels are for moist high heat (e.g., steam-autoclaves, smokehouses). Choose “TP” for model 9 in dry heat to avoid failure in wet conditions.

Why are smooth floors critical for “TP” heavy duty casters with bronze bearing?

The hard surface of “TP” high temperature wheels can crack or wear out on rough floors, especially under high heat and heavy loads. Smooth, flat floors are a must for long-lasting performance in dry high heat model 9 applications.

What maintenance is needed for “TP” high temperature wheels with bronze bearing?

After dry high heat use, cool “TP” high temperature wheels to room temperature, clean debris from the bronze bearing and wheel, and inspect for cracks or wear. Lubricate the bearing with high-temp grease if needed, and shield from direct heat to extend life in m
odel 9.
