Description

Rigid Casters with phenolic wheels are chosen where straight line travel is significant and needed. Normally sold with swivel casters, rigid casters are primarily for hand powered equipment.

Our “TP” high temperature wheels, crafted from fiberglass, phenol resin, and heat-resistant additives, are NSF Listed, RoHS Compliant, and Food Service Approved, designed for 4”, 5”, 6”, and 8” diameters with a 2-inch width for heavy duty industrial casters in model 9, offering up to 1200 lbs capacity per wheel for the 8×2 size at room temperature on smooth floor surfaces in dry high heat environments like bakery ovens, powder coating plants, and dry heat autoclaves. These high heat casters handle continuous operation up to 475°F and can withstand 525°F for 30 minutes, requiring cooling to room temperature afterward to maintain their lifespan. The hard, non-marking surface of these heat caster wheels demands smooth floors, as rough surfaces or obstructions can wear them down, and they must be shielded from direct heat sources like flames to prevent damage, making them ideal for high-temperature, food-safe tasks in model 9 applications.

Engineered for dry high heat only, these “TP” high temperature casters and wheels are not suited for moist heat, where our “NP” high temperature wheels are recommended, but deliver cost-effective performance for model 9 setups in extreme dry heat conditions. Their NSF and Food Service approvals ensure suitability for food processing, while RoHS compliance guarantees eco-friendly materials, supporting heavy loads without marking floors in bakeries or powder coating facilities. By using these heavy duty industrial casters on smooth floors and protecting them from direct heat, model 9 users achieve reliable, high-performance mobility for demanding dry high heat operations.

FAQ

Plate Caster Model 9 with 2-Inch Wide TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel

What material are “TP” high temperature wheels made from in the Plate Caster Model 9 for heavy duty casters?

The TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Model 9 high temperature caster is made from fiberglass, phenol resin, and additives to resist heat, creating a hard, non-marking industrial wheel for heavy duty casters that roll smoothly in high temp dry heat settings.

What applications are best for the Plate Caster Model 9 with “TP” high heat casters in dry heat environments?

The Model 9 with TP high heat casters and wheels is perfect for dry high heat applications, like powder coating, dry heat bakery ovens, and dry heat autoclaves, where heavy duty industrial casters move loads on smooth floors in hot zones.

What’s the temperature limit for the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Plate Caster Model 9 high temperature caster?

The TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Model 9 high temperature caster handles continuous operation up to 475°F and can hit 525°F for 30 minutes max—cool it to room temperature after high heat use to keep its service life strong.

What sizes do the TP high temperature wheels come in for the Plate Caster Model 9 industrial casters?

The TP high temperature wheels in the Model 9 industrial casters come in 4”, 5”, 6”, and 8” diameters (2” wide), offering options for heavy duty casters in dry high heat applications on smooth floors.

Can the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Plate Caster Model 9 roll on rough floors as a high temp wheel?

No, the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Model 9 high temperature caster is built for smooth floor surfaces only—rough floors or obstructions will damage these industrial casters and shorten their life.

Are the Plate Caster Model 9 high heat casters with TP wheels good for moist heat environments?

Nope, the Model 9 high heat casters with TP wheels are made for dry high heat only and will fail in moist heat like steam autoclaves—for moist heat, pick our “NP” Glass-Filled Nylon high temperature wheels.

How do I protect the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Plate Caster Model 9 in high temp dry heat settings?

Keep the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Model 9 high temperature caster shielded from direct heat sources, like flames or radiant heat, to prevent damage and maintain performance in high temp dry heat settings.

Do the TP high temperature wheels in the Plate Caster Model 9 leave marks on floors in high heat environments?

No, the fiberglass, phenol resin, and additive build of the TP high temperature wheels in the Model 9 high temperature caster is non-marking, ideal for protecting smooth floors in dry heat autoclaves or powder coating lines.

Why are the Plate Caster Model 9 heavy duty casters with TP High Temp Phenolic Wheels cost-effective for high temp use?

The Model 9 heavy duty casters with TP High Temp Phenolic Wheels deliver durable, high temperature performance at a lower cost than other high temperature casters, making them a smart choice for dry high heat applications without a big price tag.

Can the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Plate Caster Model 9 go above 525°F in high temp dry heat settings?

No, running the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Model 9 high temperature caster above 475°F for more than 30 minutes or past 525°F will cut its service life—always let it cool down after high heat exposure.
