Description
Plate Caster Model 9s are our most favored industrial caster because of its cost efficient price and wide selection of wheels. Under the mounting plate it has 2 rows of balls rotating on heat treated raceways. The swivel has a bolt and nut center pin welded to withstand normal damage in a manually moved equipment. Spec: center bolt diameter – 5/8”, leg thickness – 1/4”; welded on the inside and out, axle diameter – 1/2” long, hub width – 2 7/16”. This caster is built with stamped steel. The metal frames are zinc plated prevent rust, and it has oil fittings for all moveable components. Model 9 has an expansive selection of wheel brakes and swivel turn locks for most equipment. Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing sorts are available on demand.
DO NOT ORDER SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS IF YOU ORDER THE TL – TOTAL LOCK BRAKE. THE TL BRAKE WILL NOT WORK WITH EITHER THE SWIVEL LOCK OR RACEWAY SEALS.
