Plate Caster Model 9s are our most sought after industrial caster because of its economical initial cost and large selection of wheels. Under the mounting plate it has 2 rows of balls rotating on heat treated raceways. The swivel has a bolt and nut center pin welded to withstand normal abuse in a manually moved application. Features: center bolt diameter – 5/8”, leg thickness – 1/4”; welded on the inside and out, axle diameter – 1/2” long, hub width – 2 7/16”. This plate caster is manufactured from stamped steel. The metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance, and it has lubrication fittings for all moveable parts. Model 9 has a wide selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks for most applications. Other mounting plate sizes and wheel bearing types are available on request.
