Description
The Stainless Steel Model 3 Stem Caster by Caster City is a corrosion-resistant swivel caster manufactured from 304 stainless stamped steel with a buffed reflective finish. Stem mount inserts into equipment socket holes without requiring drilling or hardware. Available in grip ring, threaded, expanding adapter, and square and round metal stems. The swivel section features polished stainless raceways supporting two rows of ball bearings. High-temperature white seals rated -20°F to 450°F protect the bearing area while a grease fitting and dust cover provide ongoing maintenance and protection. The swivel uses a 1/2″ diameter rivet and the wheel is mounted on a 3/8″ diameter axle with lock nut. Capacity up to 350 lbs per caster depending on stem type. Uses 1-1/4″ wide wheels. NSF listed and RoHS compliant. Ideal for tortilla production, noodle factories, and ethnic food processing plants with socket-type equipment legs.
Caster City’s Polyolefin Caster Wheels feature a one-piece solid sanitary design injection molded from thermoplastic polymers. Available in heavy duty flat tread or crown tread donut shaped. Cost-effective, lightweight, and excellent for wet and corrosive applications. Resistant to water, chemicals, solvents, acids, grease, oils, and gasoline. Bearing options: plain bore, sealed ball bearings, stainless steel precision sealed ball bearings, or Delrin bearings. Hardness of 65-70 Shore D provides floor protection, low noise, and easy cleaning. Cannot develop flat spots when parked for prolonged periods. The slightly crowned tread enhances rollability. Use above 32°F and below 180°F. Ideal for cleanrooms, medical facilities, and offices.
