Description
For applications demanding stainless steel stem casters with excellent water drainage after washdowns, the Economy Model K3 Stem Caster from Caster City is purpose-built. This 304 stainless stamped steel caster includes a double ball bearing swivel section with polished smooth raceways and an open design–no dust cap, no grease fitting–allowing water to flow through and drain after every sanitation cycle. Mounts into equipment socket holes with threaded, grip ring, or expanding adapter stems. The 3/8″ diameter axle and 1/2″ diameter rivet provide a secure swivel assembly. Rated up to 350 lbs per caster depending on wheel and stem; recommended max 1,000 lbs on a set of 4. NSF listed and RoHS compliant for dairy processing, beverage production, and food packaging operations.
High Temperature Phenolic wheels are non-marking, hard composition wheels made from glass strands, making them an excellent choice for your bakery or oven application. The High Temperature Phenolic caster wheel is best suited for dry heat applications such as powder coating, dry heat bakery ovens, dry heat autoclaves and more. High Temperature Phenolic caster wheels make an excellent, low cost choice for supporting loads as they roll into and out of an oven. Caster City has designed this caster wheel to have the following temperature range: up to 475°F for continuous use, 525°F intermittent. If used above 475°F for more than 30 minutes continuous operation it will reduce the life of the wheel. These wheels have a hard surface and should be used on smooth floor surfaces. It is always best to shield High Temperature Wheels from a direct heat intake source. Caster City can furnish high temperature phenolic wheels with a plain bore, straight roller bearing, or oilite bronze bearing sleeve. Ideal for dry heat autoclaves, powder coating facilities, and commercial bakery ovens.
