Description
The Economy Stainless Steel Model K3 Stem Caster by Caster City is a corrosion-resistant swivel caster manufactured from 304 stainless stamped steel for wet processing environments. Stem mount inserts into equipment socket holes without requiring drilling or hardware. Available in threaded, grip ring, and expanding adapter stems. Polished smooth raceways support two rows of ball bearings for smooth swiveling while the open design without dust cap or grease fitting promotes water drainage after every cleaning cycle. The swivel uses a 1/2″ diameter rivet and the wheel is mounted on a 3/8″ diameter axle. Capacity up to 350 lbs per caster depending on wheel and stem; recommended limit 1,000 lbs per set of 4. NSF listed and RoHS compliant for olive oil bottling, vinegar production, and condiment manufacturing operations.

This solid wheel is injection molded from nylon 6 and is 100% washable, steam cleanable, and impervious to water. Nylon is an excellent wheel to choose when you must select a wheel that will resist chemicals, acids, bases, greases, oils, blood, salt, brine, and more. The nylon industrial caster wheel can withstand impact loads and shocks. This caster wheel offers high abrasion resistance and a hard tread with a slight crown that rolls very easily. The non-marking tread has a Durometer of 75D. This caster wheel can come equipped with stainless or non-stainless roller bearings and ball bearings, as well as Delrin bearings or plain bore. Ideal for food processing plants, packaging facilities, and wet environments.
