Description
The Model L3 Stem Caster is an institutional swivel caster from Caster City with stamped steel construction and zinc plating for rust resistance. This caster mounts with a stem that inserts into socket holes instead of bolting. A 3/8″-16 x 1-1/2″ threaded stem or a 7/16″ x 1-3/8″ grip ring stem is offered. Hardened raceways with two rows of ball bearings ensure smooth and dependable swiveling. A metal cover protects the swivel bearings from dirt and debris. The wheel is held by a 3/8″ diameter axle bolt with lock nut. Capacity up to 250 lbs per caster. Comes with 1-1/4″ wide wheels. Multiple wheel options are available. Ideal for break room tables, employee lounge furniture, and cafeteria seating with socket-type mounting.
This polyurethane caster wheel comes with a non-marking, injection molded polyurethane tire mechanically bonded to a polyolefin center. The polyurethane caster wheel is a non-marking injection molded polyurethane tire locked to an industrial plastic center, making it excellent for wet or corrosive environments. This caster wheel comes in a variety of colors including red, gray, blue, and black. These caster wheels are especially suited for use in research laboratories, hospitals, food service, schools, bakeries and other institutional applications. These caster wheels are easier rolling than gray rubber on smooth floors. This injection molded polyurethane caster wheel comes with a durometer of 90-95A, making it excellent for indoor usage on smooth surfaces to reduce noise and vibration. The plastic spanner bushings in this polyurethane caster wheel act as thread guards, protecting the sealed precision ball bearing from corrosive exposure, providing a long life for the ball bearing. If your application is over 650lbs and infrequently moved, please consider the polyurethane on aluminum wheel if polyurethane is the material you desire; this caster wheel is a liquid cast tire and will avoid crumbling apart and flat spotting much better. Ideal for electronic and diagnostic equipment, office equipment, and institutional applications.
