Description
Caster City’s Stainless Steel Model 3 Stem Caster combines 304 stainless stamped steel durability with sealed and serviceable swivel bearings for the most demanding washdown environments. This stem caster has a buffed reflective finish and inserts into equipment socket holes. Available with grip ring, threaded, expanding adapter, or square and round metal stems. The swivel assembly includes polished stainless raceways with two rows of ball bearings, high-temperature white seals rated -20°F to 450°F, a grease fitting for lubrication, and a dust cover. The 3/8″ diameter axle with lock nut carries the wheel and the 1/2″ diameter rivet secures the swivel. Rated to 350 lbs per caster depending on stem type. Features 1-1/4″ wide wheels. NSF listed and RoHS compliant. Ideal for retort processing areas, commercial smokehouses, and high-humidity washdown facilities with socket-type equipment.
The “US” welded disc polyurethane caster wheel features a premium polyurethane tire molded to a center constructed from two separate stainless steel discs. This stainless steel wheel construction withstands harsh washdown conditions and resists corrosion in wet processing environments. The polyurethane tire has a durometer of 95A ±5 and a 1-1/4″ tread width. The temperature range of this wheel is -40°F to +180°F. This wheel is equipped with stainless steel annular ball bearings for corrosion-free rolling performance. The attractive appearance and durable stainless construction make this wheel especially popular in laboratory and cleanroom environments. Available in 4″ and 5″ diameters. Ideal for laboratory equipment, pharmaceutical carts, and cleanroom applications where stainless steel construction and washdown resistance are required.
