Description

The Stainless Steel Stem Caster Model 3 from Caster City provides corrosion-resistant swivel performance in wet environments demanding stainless steel construction. Manufactured from 304 stainless stamped steel with a buffed smooth reflective finish. This caster uses a stem that inserts into socket holes for fast installation without drilling or bolting. Available with grip ring, threaded, expanding adapter, or square and round metal stems. Polished stainless raceways with two rows of ball bearings provide smooth swiveling. High-temperature white seals rated -20°F to 450°F, a grease fitting, and a dust cover protect and maintain the swivel section. The 3/8″ diameter axle with lock nut carries the wheel and a 1/2″ diameter rivet assembles the swivel. Rated up to 350 lbs per caster depending on stem type. Uses 1-1/4″ wide wheels. NSF listed and RoHS compliant. Ideal for juice production, beverage manufacturing, and commercial smoothie operations with socket-type equipment.
This polyurethane caster wheel is made of a non-marking polyurethane tire that is mechanically bonded to its polyolefin center, making it a great low-cost choice for electronic and diagnostic equipment, office equipment, laboratory equipment, or light toolboxes. These caster wheels are especially suited for use in research laboratories, hospitals, food service, schools, bakeries and other institutional applications. They withstand exposure to many chemicals and solvents. These caster wheels are easier rolling than gray rubber on smooth floors. This caster wheel has a durometer of 90-95A which assists in vibration and noise dampening. This caster wheel has a sealed precision ball bearing protected with plastic spanner bushings that reduce the inner diameter of the axle, act as thread guards, and guard the bearing from indirect and direct moisture exposure. They can be used in industrial applications which do not involve shock, overloading, abuse, obstructions, poor floors or storage (standing) loads. These caster wheels should not be left standing under load for extended periods as the tires may take a permanent “set” or develop flat spots. Ideal for hospitals, food service carts, and computer carts.
