Description

Model G15 start our industrial casters with an efficient machined swivel bearing.  This design provides exceptional performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment.  Features of this caster include easier swivel rotation, decreased vibration, and longer trouble free performance.  The metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance, and there are lubrication fittings for all moveable parts.  Plate Caster Model G15 has a wide selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks.  We offer the same selection of wheels as shown in Model 9, and in many instances the wheels have a higher load capacity rating in Model G15.  One popular option is a larger swivel radius in Model G15 Casters with 6” and 8” wheel diameters. A bigger turn lessens the vibration and makes it easier to move [This caster comes with a 1/2” diameter axle with a locking nut.  This swivel caster is made of hot=forged construction with legs welded to the swivel bearing.] This caster is available in Stainless Steel.  This Stainless Steel caster is NSF and ROHS compliant and comes with a broad selection of 2” wide wheels to choose from that are also NSF and ROHS compliant.

The TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Plate Caster Model G15 is a solid pick for industrial casters, crafted from fiberglass, phenol resin, and additives to resist heat, built for 4”, 5”, 6”, and 8” diameters (2” wide) and holding up to 1,000 lbs per wheel at room temperature on smooth floors in dry high heat spots like powder coating lines, bakery ovens, and dry heat autoclaves. This hard, non-marking heat caster wheel, NSF Listed, RoHS Compliant, and Food Service Approved, takes continuous operation up to 475°F and 525°F for 30 minutes with a plain bore and spanner bushing for a 1/2” axle, giving reliable performance in high temp dry heat settings when shielded from direct heat sources like flames, perfect for heavy duty industrial casters needing a 2-inch wide high temperature wheel for tough jobs.

Made for dry high heat only, these “TP” high temperature casters and wheels don’t work in moist heat spots like steam autoclaves but shine in industrial 2-inch wide usage with their cost-effective, food-safe design, keeping smooth rolling and floor protection in bakery or powder coating setups. The non-marking surface and high temp durability make these industrial casters a smart choice for dry heat environments, meeting NSF and RoHS standards for safe, eco-friendly use on smooth floors or tracks in extreme heat.

FAQ

Plate Caster Model G15 with 2-Inch Wide TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel

What material are “TP” high temperature wheels made from in the Plate Caster Model G15 for heavy duty casters?

The TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Model G15 heavy duty caster is made from fiberglass, phenol resin, and additives to resist heat, creating a hard, non-marking high temperature wheel for smooth rolling in high temp dry heat settings.

What applications are best for the industrial caster with “TP” high heat casters in dry heat environments?

The industrial caster with TP high heat casters and wheels is perfect for dry high heat applications, like powder coating, dry heat bakery ovens, and dry heat autoclaves, where heavy duty industrial casters move loads on smooth floors in hot zones.

What’s the temperature limit for the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the light duty caster for high temperature use?

The TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the light duty caster takes continuous operation up to 475°F and can hit 525°F for 30 minutes max—cool it to room temperature after high heat use to keep its service life strong.

What sizes do the TP high temperature wheels come in for the Plate Caster Model G15 heavy duty casters?

The TP high temperature wheels in the Model G15 heavy duty casters come in 4”, 5”, 6”, and 8” diameters, offering options for industrial casters in dry high heat applications on smooth floors or tracks.

Can the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the industrial caster roll on rough floors as a high temp wheel?

No, the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the industrial caster is built for smooth floor surfaces only—rough floors or obstructions will damage these heavy duty casters and shorten their life.

Are the heavy duty casters with TP wheels good for moist heat environments?

Nope, the heavy duty casters with TP wheels are made for dry high heat only and will fail in moist heat like steam autoclaves, so pick another wheel for those spots.

How do I protect the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Plate Caster Model G15 in high temp dry heat settings?

Keep the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the Model G15 high temperature caster shielded from direct heat sources, like flames or radiant heat, to prevent damage and maintain performance in high temp dry heat settings.

Do the TP high temperature wheels in the institutional caster leave marks on floors in high heat environments?

No, the fiberglass, phenol resin, and additive build of the TP high temperature wheels in the institutional caster is non-marking, ideal for protecting smooth floors in dry heat autoclaves or powder coating lines.

Why are the heavy duty industrial casters with TP High Temp Phenolic Wheels cost-effective for high temp use?

The heavy duty industrial casters with TP High Temp Phenolic Wheels deliver durable, high temperature performance at a lower cost than other high temperature casters, making them a smart choice for dry high heat applications without a big price tag.

Can the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in the heavy duty caster go above 525°F in high temp dry heat settings?

No, running the TP High Temp Phenolic Wheel in this industrial duty caster above 475°F for more than 30 minutes or past 525°F will cut its service life—always let it cool down after high heat exposure.
