Description
The Stainless Steel Model 3 Stem Caster from Caster City offers premium stainless steel construction with fully sealed and serviceable swivel bearings for high-temperature and corrosive environments. This 304 stainless stamped steel caster is buffed to a smooth reflective finish and mounts into equipment socket holes. Grip ring, threaded, expanding adapter, and square and round metal stems are available. The double ball bearing swivel operates on polished stainless raceways protected by high-temperature white seals rated from -20°F to 450°F. A grease fitting and dust cover keep the swivel running smoothly and contamination-free. A 1/2″ diameter rivet holds the swivel and a 3/8″ diameter axle with lock nut mounts the wheel. Load rated up to 350 lbs per caster depending on stem type. Uses 1-1/4″ wide wheels. NSF listed and RoHS compliant. Ideal for mushroom farms, herb processing, and fresh-cut produce operations with socket-type equipment.
Caster City’s “US” welded disc polyurethane wheel is built with two stainless steel discs and a premium polyurethane tire molded to the center for a durable, corrosion-resistant design. The 95A ±5 durometer polyurethane tire provides quiet rolling with excellent floor protection at a 1-1/4″ tread width. Operating temperature range is -40°F to +180°F. Stainless steel annular ball bearings deliver smooth, corrosion-free performance through repeated washdowns and chemical exposure. The all-stainless construction and attractive finish make this wheel a popular choice in the laboratory industry. Available in 4″ and 5″ diameters. Ideal for medical device carts, research laboratory equipment, and pharmaceutical processing stations in washdown environments.
