Caster City’s Stainless Steel Model G15 swivel caster delivers heavy-duty kingpinless performance in harsh environments where moisture, chemicals, and corrosion are daily challenges. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with a kingpinless design featuring precision machined load and thrust bearings, this caster includes 1/4″ thick stainless steel legs welded inside and out, a 1/2″ diameter hollow bolt axle with lock nut, and zinc-plated external parts. The 4″ x 4-1/2″ top plate handles loads up to 1,500 lbs per caster. Designed for both manual and powered use on smooth floors, inclines under 3 degrees, and speeds below 3 mph. 100% washable for hospitals, laboratories, and water treatment facilities.
Caster City has designed the UAO industrial caster wheel to have a large crown tread to the surface of the tire, which assists in changing direction. This industrial caster wheel offers a flexible orange polyurethane crown tread on aluminum, helping it to withstand impacts and heavy loads while changing directions efficiently. The 90A Durometer polyurethane is slightly softer and more flexible than standard polys, helping the tread climb over obstacles and offering a more cushioned ride. Polyurethane caster wheels will roll more easily on a smooth floor than rubber caster wheels. Polyurethane wheels are chosen when higher loads are needed to roll on floors due to offering more floor protection than what a hard composition caster wheel can. The aluminum hub is lightweight and able to withstand some impacts. This caster wheel is equipped with maintenance-free precision sealed ball bearings. If your application will expose this wheel to heavy impacts, overloading, chemicals, or continuous usage, the bonding agent can be affected. Ideal for assembly line carts, order picking equipment, and production floor operations.
