Description
The Model G15 Plate Caster Swivel is the start of our kingpinless industrial caster line with a precision machined swivel bearing. This design provides superior performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment. Benefits of the kingpinless construction include easier swiveling, reduced vibration, and longer trouble free performance. The swivel casters are zinc plated for rust resistance and include lubrication fittings for all moveable parts. A broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks is available for most applications. We offer the same wide selection of wheels as Model 9, and in many cases the wheels carry a higher load capacity rating in the G15. One popular option is the larger swivel radius available on 6″ and 8″ wheel diameters, reducing swivel shimmy vibration and making it easier to change directions. The caster features a 1/2″ diameter axle with a locking nut. Hot-forged construction with legs welded to the swivel bearing provides long lasting strength. Ideal for solar panel manufacturing, semiconductor equipment, and cleanroom support carts. This caster can also be supplied in 304 Stainless Steel with NSF and ROHS compliant wheel options.
